John Martin

John H. Martin, 86, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Community Place Nursing Home, Brandon MS. A service will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday June 16, 2021 at Causeyville Baptist Church, Meridian MS with a visitation at 11:00 am.

John was born on October 20, 1934 in Georgetown, MS, the son of Robert H. Martin and Fannie Frances Martin. A resident of Decatur, John had retired from U.S. Tobacco Company. He was a kind, loving man, who had a sense of humor. He never met a stranger. He loved to fish and watch anything that was Ole Miss Rebels. He also loved to play dominos and work outside in his yard. John loved the Lord and his family most of all. We will remember him fondly as a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend.

John is preceded in death by his father, mother, wife, son, and brother.

Survivors include three daughters, four step children, one sister, six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
