Mr. John Phillips Morris

Services for Mr. John Phillip Morris will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Father Frank Cosgrove officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10 11 a.m. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Morris, age 51, of Meridian passed away on September 13, 2014. John was an avid reader, enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and woodcarving. He had several occupations during his lifetime but his true passion was writing and poetry. Out of all of the accomplishments in his life, he enjoyed being a great Husband and Father the most.

He is survived by his wife, Hedy Morris Children, Daphne Morris, Kyle Morris, and Elizabeth Gonzalez Mother, Beatrice Morris Sisters, Bobbie Shields and Sharon Morris Mother in law, Hilda Rutledge Sister and Brother in laws, Amy and Ty Matthews, Wendy and Mike Hinson and by numerous Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father, William Bill Morris and a Brother, William Jim Morris.
