John Morvant Jr.

Memorial services will be held Saturday at 12 pm for Mr. John Morvant Jr. at Dr. John Auto Body Shop located at 1110 Homestead Road in Meridian.
Mr. Morvant, 49, of Meridian, passed away Thursday, January 31st.
"Dr. John", as his family and friends called him, was the owner of Dr. Johns Auto Body Shop. He loved running his shop as well as spending time with family and friends who love and will miss him. He also enjoyed playing golf.
Dr. John is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Alma Kay Morvant; children Jr Ward, Jason Ward, Sonja Smith and Thomas Turner along with seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Nancy Thigpen; father John Morvant Sr.; brothers Dwayne Morvant, Jeremii Morvant, Jason Morvant; sisters Janie Henderson, Nannette Pate and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
