John Parker

A private graveside service will be held for Mr. John Robert “Bob” Parker.

Stephens Funeral Home of DeKalb has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Parker, 86, of Scooba, passed away Saturday at Vineyard Court Nursing Center in Columbus, MS.

He is survived by his nieces Carol Allen, Sandra Powell; nephews Leonard Ray Sharp, Gene McArthur, Tommy Montgomery, Robert Montgomery; lifelong friends Tooney Hill and Brenda Cherry.

Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his parents John and Ethel Parker; sisters Betty Parker, Janice Montgomery, Birdie Sharp, Janell McArthur, Loeona Thomas and brother Gilbert Parker.
