John Rogers

A Memorial Service for John Thomas Rogers will be Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 1:00 pm, at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton. Mr. Rogers died February 8, 2022, in Houma, LA. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home North is handling his arrangements.

Tommy was retired from the Mississippi Army National Guard, where he served as a Flight Engineer on the Chinook helicopter. He loved cars and his dogs, but most of all he loved his wife of 17 years, Shantel. He was also super proud of his son, who is earning his PHD, at Mississippi State University.

Tommy is survived by his wife Shantel Rogers; his son John Thomas Rogers; his stepdaughter Halli Corella; a brother Billy Rogers, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents and a sister Kay Deese.
