Services for Johnnie Mac Booker will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, with the Revs. Jimmy Gerrard and W.D. Pigott officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Booker, 71 of Meridian died Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at his home. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Mr. Booker was also the owner of Bookers Antiques in Whynot.

Survivors include: wife; Melwyn Linton Booker of Meridian

Son: Ken Booker and Nicole of Clinton, Ms

Daughter: Rena Ellen Wilkerson and husband Steve of Meridian

5 Grandchildren; Jonathan Booker, Cameron Booker, Landon Booker, Tara Wilkerson and Leo Wilkerson.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Robinson, Stanley Shannon, Andy Booker, Kelva McRae, Parker Shannon and Jim McRae.
