Funeral Services for Joseph O. Joe Moore will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 2:00pm at Webb Chapel with Bro. Ed Flaskamp officiating. Burial will be Hamrick Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Moore, 75, of Collinsville, died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Moore was a wonderful and loving husband, father, brother, papaw and great grandpaw. He was witty and humorous, generous and loved feeding people. He retired after 32 years with BellSouth. He was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church, Meridian Area Coin Club, and Thursday Night Club in Brandon. He was an avid fisherman, coin and arrowhead collector and flea market entrepreneur.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Malana Moore daughter, Lynn Love Sammy of Florence, MS son, Joey Moore Mistyof Cornelia, GA son, Adron Moore daughter, Gwen McDonald David son, Kary Moore Kellyall of Collinsville, MS sister, Jean Byler Gary of Meridian, MS brother, Artie Moore Sandra and sister, Sandy Green Joe all of Collinsville, MS 13 grandchildren and their spouses, 10 great grandchildren and his beloved pet, Tink.
He is preceded by his father, Otho Moore mother, Vera Moore stepfather, Melville Moore
Pallbearers will be Sonny Russell, Gary Johnson, Chris Jamieson, R.B. Huffman, Joe Green, Jack McMullen, Robbie Peoples, Chris Peoples and Dustin Moore.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert McClure and David Brown.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
