Josephine Carter

Services for Josephine Heblon Carter will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sephus Garrett officiating. Interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery.

Mrs. Carter, age 86, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Carter was a retired seamstress from Meridian Manufacturing after working there for 25 years. She then worked as Supervisor of Housekeeping at Jeff Anderson Hospital for 15 years. She had also served as a Foster Grandparent at East Mississippi State Hospital for 10 years.

She is survived by her sons, Louis Heblon and his wife Cathy, and Bill Heblon and his wife Tjwanna daughter, Brenda Draughon grandchildren, Jackie Lee Draughon, Amanda Heblon Mowry, and her other grandchildren and sister Lottie Atkinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Nettie Tucker her first husband, Albert Charles Heblon and by her son, Fred Heblon.
