Joyce Pryor

Celebration of life services for Joyce Pryor will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at College Park United Methodist Church, with Bro. Kenneth Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Meridian Memorial Park, with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Pryor, 76, of Meridian, passed away at her home.

Joyce was very outgoing and had a keen sense of humor. She had a kind and caring nature, which led her to the field of nursing. Taking care of her patients, as well as her family, was her passion in life, but her grandchildren were her greatest joy. She will be remembered for her unconditional love and giving spirit.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Thomas Pryor, children, Richard Paul (Carole Anne) Pryor and Debra Dawn Pryor (Jim) Herrera; grandchildren, Sloan Herrera, Benjamin Herrera and Sarah Anne Elizabeth Pryor.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Veronica Leigh "Ronnye" Pryor.
