Joyce Warren

Services for Joyce L. Warren "Bonnie" will be held Monday, January 15th, 12:00 p.m., at New Hope United Methodist Church in DeKalb with Rev. Billy Higginbotham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Warren, 81, of DeKalb, passed away at her residence in Brookwood, AL.
Bonnie was born January 9, 1937 in Starkville, MS. She grew up in Starkville and also lived in Aliceville, AL for several years, working at textile mills in both places. She moved to DeKalb, MS in April of 1968 when she married her husband, Sloke Warren. Bonnie and Sloke were married for 37 happy years.
Her survivors include son Gilman DeWayne Warren and wife Carol of Houlka, MS; daughters Dianne Whitley Jones of Brookwood, AL and Bonnie Browning and husband Bubba of Steens, MS; grandchildren Doug Jones of Brookwood, AL; Tina Jones Cannon and husband Kenny of Birmingham, AL; Taylor Browning Milner and husband Chad of Steens, MS; and Savannah Browning of Steens, MS; great grandson Nicholas Grace and wife Casey of Lakeview, AL; and great great granddaughter Sofie Grace of Lakeview AL.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sloke Warren and son-in-law Hubert Jones.
Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the church.
