Graveside services for Mr. Julian Carl Wright will be held Saturday at 1:00 pm at Springhill United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ron Leonard officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Wright, 76, of Meridian, died Thursday, March 03, 2011 at Rush Hospital. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. Mr. Wright worked in intelligence having briefed several U.S. Presidents such as Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard Nixon. After his retirement from the military, he served as a Church of God pastor in several states across America from 19731991.

He is survived by his wife, Janie Louise Linton Wright daughter, Frances Wright Bardwell and granddaughter, Alesha Bardwell all of Meridian brothers, Edward L. Wright of Meridian, and Farris Wright of Yazoo City sister, Jearleen Welch of Brandon half sister, Shellie Jones of Eufaula, Alabama and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other beloved family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James E. and Artie Mae Wright and half sister, Annabil Riley.
Pallbearers will be Randy Linton, Caleb Avera, and Wiley Avera.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11:3012:30 at Webb Funeral Home.
