Karen Warren

On Friday, February 26, 2021, our little girl Karen Nicole (Nikki) Williams Warren went to be with little girl Mikayla again in heaven.  She was a bright and shining light in our lives that burned out far too soon.  She was born on January 16, 1987, in Meridian, Mississippi, and lived her in Meridian all of her life.  Although she was not published and not many knew, she was a very talented poet.  She felt that her poetry was either not good enough to share or it was too personal to share.

She is preceded in death by her baby girl, Mikayla Nicole Warren; her maternal grandparents, William E. Hinson, Jr. and Evelyn K. Hinson; paternal grandparents, William P. Williams, Sr. and Burlie Mae Smith; her uncles, Charles E. Williams, George W. Williams, and Benjamin Stuart; her aunt, Robin F. Williams.

She is survived by her sons, Micah Allen Warren and Nathan Daniel Warren; her parents, Jerry W. Williams and Cynthia Hinson Williams; her sister, Jessica Williams Davis; brother in law, Marcus K. Davis; her nephew, Michael Joseph Tripi, Jr.; her nieces, Madison Alexis Tripi, Breannna Marie Davis, Madison Karol Davis and Hannah Faith Davis; her uncles, William E. Hinson III of Palm Bay, FL, William P. Williams, Jr. of Meridian, Alvin L. Williams of Meridian, David Barfield of Meridian, Walter Lee Swieton of Kansas City, KS; her aunts, Karen H. Swieton of Kansas City, KS, Edna Smith Barfield of Meridian, Stella W. Stuart of Meridian, Martha B. Williams of Meridian, Carolyn Williams of Meridian, and Nancy Williams of Meridian; and many cousins and friends.

Visitation and services are to be held at James F. Webb Funeral Home, 2514 7th Street, Meridian, MS 39301 at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 6, 2021, with interment at Meehan Community Cemetery.  Reverend Jimmy Culpepper will be officiating.
