Kenneth Williams

March 26, 1934 — August 15, 2020

Kenneth “Ken” Williams was born March 26th, 1934 in Scranton, Kentucky to Lawrence Pierce Williams and Gladys Sorrell. He grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He passed away at home on August 15th, 2020.

He was a Navy veteran and served on numerous aircraft carriers. When on shore, he worked on the crash crew as a firefighter. After retirement he built machinery.

He was loved by everyone he met and was well respected everywhere he went.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, whom he was married to for 64 years, his wife Millie. Also his parents and sister Joyce Kane.

He is survived by his brothers Clifford McBraier and William McBraier; his children daughter Cindy Lusignan (Phil), son, Scott Williams; six grandchildren James Rainey (Tiffany), Jason Rainey (Melissa), Christina Linthicum (Scotty), Katie McKeehan (John), Mary Cornwall (Vicount), Janie Lusignan; twelve great-grandchildren, soon to be thirteen, and many nieces and nephews. Also his church family at the Northside Church of Christ whom he adored and who adored him.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 22nd from 11:30 until 1:30 at Stephens Funeral Home on Old North Hills Street, followed by a graveside service combined with a memorial service for Millie Williams, who was not permitted a memorial due to Covid restrictions. She passed away April 28, 2020.

The graveside service will be at 2:00 August 22nd at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Following the graveside service, a fellowship meal will be at the Northside Church of Christ on Hwy 39.
