     Kevin Lee Lindner, 67, of Meridian, passed away from this life on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center.

     Kevin was born to Eugene Vern and Kathryn Isabell (Prescott) Lindner on March 19, 1957, in Phoenix, Arizona. After high school, Kevin enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country as a Spec 4 Track and Wheel Vehicle Mechanic. While serving in the US Army, he was stationed in Germany, where his daughter, Shona, was born. Upon honorable discharge, Kevin received several decorations including the Expert Rifle M-16 Commendation. He will be remembered as being a loving father, husband, brother, and grandfather, and also an excellent mechanic.

     He is survived by his daughter, Shona Teapila (Trinidad); son, Kevin Lee Lindner, Jr (Deborah); his brothers, Eugene “Frosty” Lindner (Patricia), Roger Lindner, Robert Lindner (Toni), and William “Billy” McOwen (Gladys); sisters, Kathryn Isabell Marshall and Cora McOwen; nephew, Dakota Scott; along with five grandchildren, Angel Eduardo, Marisabelle Aleta, Kevin Wayne, John Joseph, and Patience Marie.

     Kevin was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of nine years, Carolyn Rodriguez Lindner; and his brothers, Robert McOwen, Ralph McOwen, and Homer Lucas McOwen.

     The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a later date to celebrate Kevin’s life.

     The staff of Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes-North is grateful for the opportunity to honor Kevin’s life, memory, and service to his country and to serve his loving family during this time.
