Graveside services for Mrs. Lacy Loleta Evans Keeton will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Mike Russell officiating. Burial will be at Union Methodist Church Cemetery in Kemper County. James F. Webb Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Keeton, age 97, of Meridian, MS, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona, MS. She was a resident of Winona Manor Nursing Home for the last two years and was a faithful member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, formerly Oakland Heights Baptist church when she was living in Meridian. Mrs. Keeton also had worked as a seamstress at Troy Laundry and Cleaners for 15 years.
She is survived by:
Daughter: Willa Dean Keeton Evans and her husband Bobby Joe Evans of Vaiden, MS
Three Grandchildren: Joey Evans of Vaiden, MS; Cindy Hemphill of Winona, MS; and Vicky Pratt of Winona, MS.
Seven Great Grandchildren: Andrew Evans, Eric Evans, Joey Evans, Kelly Evans, Chris Eskridge, Amy Claire Hemphill, Lee Pratt.
Two Sisters: Helen Parr and Robbie Wilson both of Fortworth, TX.
One Brother: Kelly Evans of Fortworth, TX.
She was preceded by her husband of 37 years, Walter Robert Keeton; four sisters, Margaret Ivy, Ann Stapels, Almeda Richardson, and Mozel Curlin; and one brother, Willard Evans.
Visitation will be Friday, November 16, 2007 at Webb Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M..
