Lamar Chambers Sr

Services for Mr. Lamar “Wayne” Chambers Sr. will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020, 2: 00 p.m., at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Harper and Bro. John Sweeney officiating. Interment will follow at Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Chambers, 80, of Meridian, passed away December 9th at his residence.

He is survived by his children, Lamar “Buddy” Wayne Chambers Jr. (Donna), Lisa Charlene Lee (Joe), and Rhonda Gay Creel (Keith); 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; son-in-law, Marty Harper; and brother, David Chambers (Lynn).

He is preceded in death by his wife, Madie Claire Chambers; daughter, Patsy Lynn Harper; parents, Ben and Cora Chambers; and brothers, Donald Ray Chambers (Julia) and Bennie Chambers.

Pallbearers will include Patrick Harper, Brandon Harper, Justin Linton, Michael Chambers, Corey Smith, Keith Smith, Devin Harper, and Brandon McElroy.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
