Services for Mr. Lamar Ford will be held Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Webb and Rev. Wayne Edwards officiating. Private family burial will be in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Duffee with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Ford, 92, of Meridian, died Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Golden Living Center. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church for over 60 years where he served as a deacon, and also taught Sunday school for over 40 years. He was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Elberta Harrison Ford sons, Joe Ford and wife Karen, and Glen Ford and wife Susan 4 grandchildren, Steve, Kevin, Rocky, and Lindsey Ford and 3 great grandchildren, Aidan, Landon, and Ethan Ford.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Midway Baptist Church, 4579 Old 8th St. Road N, Meridian, Ms. 39307.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 121 pm at the funeral home.
