Larry Glenn Stokes

A graveside service for Mr. Larry Glenn Stokes will be held Friday, June 28, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Dayna Goff officiating. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Stokes, 77, of Toomsuba, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

Larry retired from James Rivers paper mill after 35 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and watching baseball, especially when his grandchildren played. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughters, Mistie Dixon and Carrie Boatner (Shane); grandsons, James Dixon, Ethan Boatner (Khloe), and Justin Boatner; great grandchildren, Everleigh and Braxton Boatner; siblings, Cindy Coker and Scotty Stokes (Carol); and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thurman Russell and Ruby Grace Boswell Stokes.

Pallbearers will include Ethan Boatner, Justin Boatner, James Dixon, Phillip Dixon, Charles Marble, and Travis White. Honorary pallbearers will include Jeremy Smith and Shane Boatner.

Visitation will be held from 9:00-9:45 a.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North prior to service.
