Mrs. Laurine was employed at various places during her life, but her most memorable employment was during the nine years she worked at Jefferson Davis Academy. She loved working in her vegetable garden and had a passion for growing flowers. She was an excellent cook and loved to see people enjoy her meals. She had unconditional love for her family, and was a faithful friend to many in her community.
