Services for Laverne Pigford were held Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 2:00 p.m at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel wit the Rev. David Caves officiating. Burial was at Toomsuba Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pigford, 87, of Meridian, died Friday, May 27, 2011 in Jackson, MS. She was a member of Toomsuba Baptist Church.
She is survived by her dayghter, Diane Wyldmon and her husband, Wayne of Byram, MS a son, Gary Pigford of Brandon, MS grandchildren: Tammy Pigford, Garrett Pigford, Kimberly Pigford, Shonda Tapia, Bronson Louney, Zachary Wyldmon and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death byy her daughter, Janet Pigford Louney and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Anderson.
