Graveside Services for Lawrence Arthur Sanderson, Jr. will be held Wednesday at 10 am at Hickory Cemetery with The Rev. Dr. Helen W. Tester officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lawrence Arthur Sanderson, Jr., 73, died Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Poplar Springs Nursing Center.

Mr. Sanderson was born January 26, 1942, in Meridian. He was a graduate of Meridian High School and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a member of Episcopal Church of the Mediator. He was retired from the State of Mississippi Highway Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Arthur Sanderson, Sr. and Coral Killam Sanderson; brother in law, John P. Fox, Sr.; and grand nephew, Sean Evan Fox.

Survivors include his sister, Marian S. Fox of Petal; two nieces, Cynthia Fox Yardley and her family of Houston, Texas and Sandra Fox Leigh and her family of Mandeville, LA; nephew, John P. Fox, Jr. and his family of Petal; four grand nephews; one grand niece; and four great grand nephews and nieces.
