Leland Moore

Funeral services for Mr. Leland Moore will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel at 12 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Read officiating. Visitation will be from 10 - 12pm Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sageville Cemetery on Arundel Road.
Mr. Moore, 87, of Meridian, passed away on Thursday at Bedford Care in Marion. Mr. Moore was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Moore was a Gideon and also served as treasurer for the Gideons. He was a member of Lost Gap Independent Protestant Church. He loved to ride his tractor and farming and cutting grass. The family would also like to thank the staff at Bedford for taking perfect care of their dad.
He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Easterwood (Chuck) and Kay Smith; Son, Ken Moore (Larry); Grandchildren, Nathan Easterwood (Jennifer), and Gail Barton (Tre'); Great Grandchildren, Mason and Emily Easterwood, and Sadie Barton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Maybelle Moore; Wife, Tommye Moore; Grandchild, Leslie Smith; Brothers, Bernard and Willard Moore; Sister, Amy Nanosky.
