Mr. Leon Pippin

Services for Mr. Leon Pippin will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Bonita with Rev. Roy Dabbs officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Pippin passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Rush Hospital in Meridian. He was retired from EMEPA after working for 38 years. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and also served as a Deacon. He was a Master Mason at E.J. KnoxKing Solomon Lodge 130 and he enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Pippin of Toomsuba, MS Three Daughters, Theresa James and her husband Billy Ray of Bruce, MS, Lisa Joe Stodard and her husband Paul Ray of Savannah, TN, and Jo Beth Berry and her husband Tom of Galveston, TX by his grandchildren, Caleb Winfield, Kristin Stodard, Katlin Stodard, Autumn Berry, Madeleine Berry and Molly Berry by a great granddaughter, Lanna Winfield by a sister in law, Jean Pippin several Nieces and Nephews and by his loving pet, Lucky.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Bryant Willard and Lennie Lee Pippin and one brother, James Harold Pippin.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 5, 2012 at Webb Funeral Home from 5 7pm.
