Lessie Mae Steele Morgan

Services for Mrs. Lessie Morgan will be held Monday at 1 pm at Webb Chapel with Chaplain Chris Vowell officiating. Burial will be in Rawson Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Morgan, 84, of Meridian, died Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Bedford Care Center in Marion. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother for her family. She was a member of Carmel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Gus Morgan and wife Laneece of Knoxville, Tenn., and Billy Morgan and wife Karen of Madison grandchildren, Jamie Miller and husband Zach of Flowood, William Morgan of Knoxville, Tenn., and Jessica and Brant Morgan both of Madison great grandchild, Maylei Miller of Flowood and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Edward C. Buddy Morgan, Jr. four brothers one sister and special sister in law, Hazel Steele.

Pallbearers will be Warren Culpepper, Judson Lee, Joey Lee, Will Morgan, Wayne McInnis, Kenny Graham, Jay Stephens, and John Pirie. Honorary pallbearer will be Brant Morgan.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.

Visitation will be Monday from 11 am 1pm at the funeral home.
