Services for Mr. Lester Trummer Gray Sr. will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 3:30 PM at Graveside with Rev. Donald Gentry officiating. Interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Gray, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at his home in Cuba, AL. Mr. Gray was a veteran of the United States Army. He was the former owner of the Vanity Boot Shop in Meridian and managed Watsons Shoe Store and McRaes Shoe Dept. for many years. Mr. Gray attended 8th Avenue Baptist Church in Meridian.

He is survived by his Son, Lester T. Butch Gray Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Meridian his Daughter, Acia Monette Gray of Austin, TX his Brother, C.W. Shine Gray of Meridian his Sister, Ruth Edwards of Houston, TX his Grandchildren, Amanda Gray Dorman and Lester T. Gray III his Great GrandDaugher, Bailey Dorman and by his numerous Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Alma Gray Sisters, Mildred Irby, Bell Tidwell, Cecil Dowdle, and Neola Wright.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 23, 2011 from 1:30 3:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home.
