Services for Ms. Lexie Delle Muse will be held Wednesday at 2:30 pm at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ms. Muse, 84, of Meridian, died Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Golden Living Center.

She graduated from Blue Mountain College and received her Masters in Religious Education from Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary. She served as educational director at Baptist churches in Valdosta, Georgia and churches in Greenwood, Hattiesburg, Jackson, and Meridian. She was also the Executive Director for the Meridale Girl Scout Council for many years.

She is survived by three nieces and three nephews several great nieces and nephews as well as a dear friend, Lera Cowart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar E. and Sadie Martin Muse brother, William O. Muse and sisters, Bee Muse, Anne M. Gartin, and Wilma Muse Hayden.
