Linda Holloway

A graveside service for Linda Carol Holloway will be Thursday, July 22, 2021, at 11:00, at Briggs Chapel Cemetery in Porterville, MS. Bro. Bob Followell will be officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with her arrangements.

Linda grew up in Perdido Key, FL with her best friend Gretchen. Her family moved to Meridian around 1960 and she has been here ever since. She was full of life and never met a stranger. She loved everyone she met, but her greatest love was Jesus. She started talking to Jesus when she was 8 years old and became a staunch prayer warrior, praying for everybody. She was a wonderful example of what a Christian woman should be.

She is survived by her daughter Shannon McElroy and her son Richard S. "Rich" Holloway along with her grandchildren Whitney Kristen McElroy and John Clinton McElroy.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 52 years, Richard Wayne Holloway; her parents Bill and Maxine Sinclair, and a brother Fred Albert Strehle.
