Graveside services for Ella Lois Hurtt Goodwin will be held Monday at 1pm at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Rev. Jonathan Tullos will be officiating. Barham Funeral Home - Forest Lawn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Goodwin, 92, of Raymond (formerly of Meridian), passed away Friday at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
She retired as a long-time office employee for Standard Drug. A member of Druid Hills United Methodist Church, she is remembered for her enjoyment of different crafts, going to craft shows and especially the Canton Flea Market. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. The true love of her heart was her family.
Mrs. Goodwin is survived by her daughter Jackie Jackson and husband Jerry; granddaughter Jamie Jackson and husband Waz; great-granddaughter Ruby Louise Jackson and brother Johnny Mac Hurtt.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mattie Hurtt; husband John Goodwin and siblings Bonnie Gilbert, Roy Hurtt, Sybil Margrave and Imogene Boswell.
