Lois Christine King Minchew

Services for Lois Christine King Minchew will be held Tuesday at 10 am at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Belcher and Rev. Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will be in Springhill United Methodist Church Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. MInchew, 71, of Meridian, died Saturday, May 07, 2011 at Rush Hospital. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, James E. Minchew Jamie and wife Angie, Michael D. Minchew and wife Ginger, Chris Minchew Dawson and husband Roy, Gary W. Minchew and wife Mitzi, Lisa Minchew Robinson and husband Dewayne, Jody Minchew and wife Donna, and Latishia Minchew Scribner and husband Johnny 21 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren brothers, John David King and wife Lisa, and Charles Robert King several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Minchew parents, John and Mildred King brother, Thomas King and sisters, Barbara King Urston, and Deborah King.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Kirby, Jerry Wilson, Tommy Smith, Junior Eaves, Keith Cates, Ricky King, Mac Arthur Urston II, and John Elmore. Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy Joiner, Billy Litchfield, and Jackie Miller.
