Louise Dear

A graveside service for Mrs. Louise Dear will be held Friday, October 14, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Enterprise Cemetery with Rev. David Hopkins officiating. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-Downtown is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Dear, 102, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at her residence.

Louise grew up in the Depression Era and understood the meaning of hard work. She enjoyed working outside, tending to her flowers and was an excellent cook. However, the most important thing to her was her family, whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Dear (Mona); grandson, Justin Dear; special grandson, Kenny Wayne Branning; great granddaughter, Madelyn Dear; sister, Myrl Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Stacy Dear; parents, Claude and Myrtie Jay; and siblings, W.M. Jay, Adolph Jay, Claudine Kamper, and Bobby Jay.
