Louise Ethridge Sanders departed this earthly life to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior May 3, 2017 in Quitman, Mississippi.
She has born May 4, 1915 in Lauderdale County to William L. and Sally J. Lee Ethridge. Preceded in death by her husband William Erwin Sanders, daughter, Bettye Sanders Sullivan and eight siblings.
Survivors are brother, William Murry Ethridge, New Bern, North Carolina; sister, Eunice Poole (Erskin) Canton, Mississippi: daughters, Mona Herrington Mayatt (Tommy) of Quitman, Mississippi; Lynda Sanders of State Road, North Carolina: son, William Sanders (Joan) of Elkin, North Carolina: Grandchildren, Thomas Matthew Mayatt (Tanya) of Clarke County, Mississippi; Miriam Mayatt Howle (Don) of Germantown, Tennessee; John Andrew Mayatt (Melissa) of Meridian, Mississippi; Nolan Sanders of Charlotte, North Carolina; Ben Sanders (Dawn) of Tacoma, Washington; Alan Sanders (Carrie) of Salem, Virginia: Great grandchildren, Taylor Howle (Sondra) of Knoxville, Tennessee; Jordan Howle of Denver, Colorado; Taylor Smith, Kennedy Smith and Autumn Mayatt of Clarke County, Mississippi; Tucker Mayatt of Meridian, Mississippi; Warren and Phoebe Sanders of Charlotte, North Carolina; Skye and Will Sanders of Tacoma, Washington; Laurel and Autumn Louise Sanders of Salem, Virginia: Great-great grandchild born on the day that gram went to heaven, Wyatt Rolfe Howle of Knoxville, Tennessee.
She was truly a Proverbs 31 Lady and was loved by all who knew her.
Services will be Monday, May 8th at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church of Quitman, Quitman, Mississippi. Dr. Gene Neal and Reverend Franklin Denham officiating. Visitation at First Baptist Church of Quitman beginning at 10:00 A.M. prior to the services.
