Meridian, Ms: Graveside services for Mr. Harper will be held at Rawson Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Feb. 3, 2010, Wednesday with Pastor Carlis Clinton officiating. James F. Webb Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Harper, 80, died January 31, 2010 at Popular Springs Nursing Center. He was born on Jan. 11, 1930 in Russell, MS.
Survivors include wife Hazel H. Harper Sons Mack R. Harper Jr Cindi, Dennis Rogers, daughters Debbie Lawson Ralph, Jolanda Bundy Jack Sabina Aday, Grandchildren Mack Harper III, Billy Harper, Rebecca Woodard, Gary Lawson, Kevin Lawson, Andy Lawson, Judd Bundy, Joel Bundy and Sonja Aday, And 11 GreatGrandchildren. Brother Leo Harper, Sisters Opal Hurt, Ann Whitehead, Marylin Hamby, Carolyn Boykin, Patsy Barnhurst, Peggy Mathis. Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alonzo Lonnie B. and Beulah C. Harper, Brothers Harold Harper, Walter Hoss Harper. Sisters Mardell Harper, Juanita Clark and Margie Moak.
Pallbearers will be Gary Lawson, Kevin Lawson, Andy Lawson, Chad Dean, Judd Bundy, Joel Bundy, Kenny Harper and Ron Harper. Mr. Harper was a loving father, and Grandfather, also avid Nascar fan and also an Army Veteran.
