Services for Maggie Lee Beeman Fairchild will be held Saturday, May 25th, 10:30 a.m., at James F. Webb Funeral Home with Pastor Sid Newell officiating. Burial will follow at Enterprise Cemetery.
Mrs. Fairchild, 87, of Meridian, passed away Monday at The Orchard in Ridgeland, MS.
Maggie spent most of her life taking care of elderly patients as a nurse. She enjoyed staying busy, she spent time volunteering at the Enterprise Public Library and Enterprise Baptist Church as a secretary. She was also active in The Homemaker’s Club in Clarke county. She will be most remembered for being a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Lee Fairchild and Charles Ivan Fairchild and wife Roberta; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Faye Miller; brothers, Larry Beeman and wife Sarah and Randolph “Sonny” Beeman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Ivy Beeman and Ora Arene Beeman Hurst; step father, Russell Hurst; husband, Cleetis Thomas Fairchild; sisters, Gelora Brown and Joan Rigdon; and brother, Raymond Beeman.
Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Enterprise Baptist Church or Enterprise Public Library.
