Mallene Conard

Graveside services for Mrs. Mallene Hall Conard, 85, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on February 13, 2020, at Magnolia Cemetery with Bro. Jack Kern officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home will handle all arrangements.

Mrs. Conard, a lifelong resident of Meridian, died February 9,2020 at Specialty Hospital of Meridian.

Mallene was born on Easter Sunday, April 1, 1934 in Hazlehurst, MS. After raising her three children, she went to work for Meridian Public Schools and later helped her husband, Linford, run their furniture store. Once the business closed, she worked at Highland Baptist Daycare. Mallene, affectionately known as Granny and Mississippi by her grandchildren, was a wonderful southern cook and a loving caregiver. She will be missed by many.

Survivors include her children, Grace Hutchins of Lawrence, KS, Lindy Conard of Huntsville, AL, and Gayle Gullette of Meridian; grandchildren, Casey and Ryan Hutchins, Patrick (Leah) Conard, Elizabeth (Rob) Caraccilo, Anna (David) Cienfuegos, Mary Alex Conard, and Malley (Thomas) Tillery; four great grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Cleveland and Vickie Hall; brother, Richard Hall; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Linford Conard; parents, Mallie and Lulu Belle Hall; sisters, Mary Jo Phillips and Frances Eilbeck; and brother, George Hall.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
