Services for Mrs. Margaret Price Anderson will be held Monday at 10 am at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny McGill officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Church of God Cemetery with Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Anderson, 80, of Meridian, died Friday, May 20, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. The love of her heart was her Lord Jesus Christ, her family and her church. She was a Sunday school teacher and held other important positions at the church. She loved to cook for her family and her church.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Orville Shorty Anderson of Meridian children, Leslie Anderson and wife Linda of Meridian, Paula LeBlanc and husband Gerald of Birmingham, and Madeline Young of Meridian grandchildren, Tonya Vaughn, Marcus and Monte Young, and Kevin and Alicia LeBlanc great grandchildren, Jack, Jonathan, Wesley, Ryan, and Sophia sisters, Mary George Segota and husband Pete, Millicent Troupe, Lucy Inkster, and Helen Beck and husband Alvin brothers, Jo Price and wife Sandra, and Rev. Tommy Price and wife Helvi and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Jewel Price her infant daughter, Sharon Lynette and brother in law, Jim Inkster.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Building Fund.
