Margaret Baker

Margaret Ann Baker, 78, of Meridian MS passed away at home on Sunday, July 5, 2020.  She was born to Thomas Clifton and Emma Virginia Eakes.
Margaret was a medical technologist, accomplished seamstress, and owned and operated an upholstery business.
Margaret was widowed in 2007 by her husband Bradford.  She was predeceased by her brother Glynn Eakes. She is survived by her son Jeffrey, daughter-in-law Cindy, and grandson Gabriel.
She is also survived by her eldest brother Grover Eakes, his wife and Margert's long-time friend, Mitzie, her younger sister Virginia 'Ginger' Eakes, and her sister-in-law Deloris 'Dee' Eakes.
She was a loving family member to many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to the pandemic, there will not be a formal service, but we do encourage friends and family to come by Margaret's house over the next week to share their memories.
