Margaret Bishop

A graveside service for Margaret Bishop will be held Monday, November 2, 2020, 1:00 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in entrusted with arrangements.

Ms. Bishop, 101, of Bucatunna, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at Bedford Care of Marion.

Margaret was an LPN who graduated nursing school from Mattie Hersey. She served her community as a nurse at Riley Hospital, retiring after 40 years. After retirement, she volunteered as a “pink lady” at Rush Hospital. She will be most remembered for being a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Sarah Ragsdale (Frank), Judy Scott, and Delmar Lynn McCrary (Alliene); and nine grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Roark; parents, Walter and Lottie Wells; and six brothers and sisters.
