Margaret Watkins

Private graveside services for Margaret A. Watkins, 90, who passed away Tuesday August 17, 2021 at Anderson Regional Medical Center will be held Saturday August 21, 2021 at New Hope Cemetery with Bro. Steve Taylor of Russell Baptist Church officiating. Services will be under the direction of James F. Webb Funeral Home.

Mrs. Watkins was born May 26, 1931 to Franklin and Thelis Pogue. She retired from Meridian Coca-Cola Bottling Co. after 24 years as payroll clerk.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Richard (Dick) Watkins; daughter Pamela Snodgrass; sister Clarice Davis; brothers Jo Pogue, Jack Pogue, and Mack Pogue.

She is survived by daughters Karen Anderson and Lisa Goforth (Marce); six grandchildren Kate Berberick, Kevin Goforth (Angie), Stephanie Chatham, Daniel Goforth (Kristin), Brittany White (Max), and Tristan Goforth; nine great-grandchildren Kyler and Kynlee Goforth; Crey, Layla and Corbin Brister; Kai Branch, Skylar Anderson, Graham White and Lenora Goforth.
