Graveside services for Margie Sue Key will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 1 pm, at Pinecrest Cemetery in Dekalb, MS. Reverend Terry Roberts and Brother Chris Gully will be officiating. Ms. Key, 87, died Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. Stephens Funeral Home - Dekalb is honored to be handling her arrangements.

Sue-Key was a retired math teacher, having taught for over 42 years. She began her teaching career at Forest High School and finished her career at Meridian Community College. She was a life-long member of Dekalb United Methodist Church. She was loved and admired by her family and all that knew her. Sue enjoyed shopping, traveling, eating out, and living her life to the fullest.

Ms. Key is survived by her nephews Gene McCarty (Kathy), Jerry Aust, Ken Aust (Sheila), Steve Key, Kim Key (Linda); nieces Joyce Key and Janet Key; several great and great-great nieces and nephews and two sisters in law Ruth Key and Mary Key George.

She was preceded in death by her parents Erma and Boelyn Key Sr. ; brothers Boelyn Jr., Mike and Jerry; sisters Mary Bell McMillan, Tommie Key, Ouida Aust and Joyce Key.

Pall bearers will be Gene McCarty, Jerry Aust, Ken Aust, Steve Key, Kim Key, Tommie McCarty and Clint Aust.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to her care givers Ethel Houston and Terry Roberts.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Dekalb Church, Pinecrest Cemetery, or the American Heart Association.
