Marguerite Dickerson

Graveside Services for Mrs. Marguerite Dickerson will be held Monday, November 24, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Laurel, MS with the Rev. Bill Bolton officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dickerson, age 87, died Friday, November 21, 2008 at Regency Hospital in Meridian.

She was a member of the Friends of the Meridian Public Library. She was known as a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family.

She was survived by her son, Thomas R. Smith of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Marjorie Wooley of Meridian; ten grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; fifteen great -great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Fannie OFlinn; husband, David Dickerson; son, John H. Smith; one sister and three brothers.
