Marion "Sweet Pea" Wilhite

Marion Lucille Wilhite “Sweet Pea”, born on August 17, 1933, of Meridian, MS passed away on September 4, 2020. She was 87 years old.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2020, 10:00 a.m., at Magnolia Cemetery. Friends and family will meet at the cemetery.

Marion was in the United States Navy and worked for the US Department of Treasury for more than 30 years. She loved fishing and being outside in general

She is survived by her sister, Katherine Wilhite; close friends, Charles, Lori, Bailey, and Lauren Pickett, Matt Copeland, and Norma Rose. She also had one nephew and several nieces.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry J. and Veda P. Wilhite; two brothers; and four sisters.

Marion was loved by many and will be truly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Methodist Children’s Homes of MS.

Pallbearers will include Charles Pickett, Matt Copeland, Lance Copeland, Kevin Rose, Tommy Robinson, and Michael Murphy Jr.
