Marjorie Thrash

Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Ruth Allen Thrash will be held Sunday, March 21, 2021, 2:00 p.m., at James F. Webb Funeral Home with Rev. Andy May officiating. Burial will be at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Suqualena.

Mrs. Thrash, 94, of Collinsville, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at R.P. White Nursing Facility.

She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church of Collinsville, MS. She enjoyed needlework, sewing, and ceramics. She especially enjoyed music and singing with her siblings. The old-time convention songs and hymns were her favorites.

She is survived by her daughters, Retha Beddingfield (Bobby) of Collinsville, MS and Rhonda Culpepper (Gary) of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Allen Beddingfield of Tuscaloosa, AL, Gwen Wornall (John) and Morgan Ward (Jeremy), both of Brandon, MS; great grandchildren, Elijah and Sam Wornall, and Blair and Lydia Ward, all of Brandon, MS; sister, Marilyn Allen Duett of Collinsville, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Thrash; parents, Iulus Allen and Bonnie Huffmaster Allen; brothers, Julius Allen and Howard Allen; and sister, Dorothy Allen Gough.

Visitation will be held and hour prior to service at the funeral home.
