Marsha Ethridge

Services for Marsha Kay Goodwin Ethridge will be held Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 2pm at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with Nick Blake and Ron Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Ethridge, 59, of Meridian, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Grandview church of Christ in Meridian. Marsha graduated from Starkville High School and went to college at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS where she graduated with a degree in Special Education. She started her teaching career in Hatley, MS then Beulah Hubbard in Union, MS and Magnolia Elementary School in Meridian.
She also worked alongside her husband Ricky in their businesses, The Carpet Touch and A Better View. Her most recent endeavor was with Avon.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ricky Edwin Ethridge; mother Wilma Sue Goodwin; children Rebecca Leanne Ethridge and David Edwin Ethridge; brothers Gary Street Goodwin (Kathy), Paul Ashley Goodwin (Traci) and Bently Craig Goodwin (Dana) along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Odis R. Goodwin.
Pallbearers are Matt McHan, Jared Wright, Caleb Wright, Kevin Ethridge, Chris Ethridge and Will Goodwin. Honorary pallbearers are Ronald Wright and Gerald Donald Ethridge.
The family would like to thank Harrah's Hope Lodge in Memphis, TN, West Cancer Center, Dr. Halbrook and staff at Anderson Cancer Center in Meridian and Dr. Bigelow and staff at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to Harrah's Hope Lodge, 718 Union Ave, Memphis, TN 38103.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12pm to service time.
