Martha Gordon

Martha Crawford Gordon, 92, passed away August 29, 2017, in Richland, MS

She was born April 10, 1925, in Vernon, TX, and lived most of her life in Mississippi.

She was a secretary at several locations and finished her career as Office Manager at Bankers Trust in Pascagoula, MS, in 1987. After retirement she eventually returned to her childhood home of Stonewall, MS, where she was active in her church and community until her health began to decline in 2012.

She is survived by a son, Lamar (Donna), of Jackson, MS; a granddaughter, Renea (Tom) Setser, of Chantilly, VA; great-granddaughters, Samantha and Elizabeth Setser; great-grandson, John T. Setser; and a brother, Jim Crawford, of Madison, MS.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Crawford, and her husband, Orville L. Gordon, Sr.

Services are at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 1, at Webb Funeral Home in Meridian, MS, with visitation beginning at 12 noon. Interment will be at Enterprise Cemetery, Enterprise, MS.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stonewall United Methodist Church, Bx 148, Stonewall, MS 39363.

The family is deeply grateful for the loving care given by the staff at Plainview Assisted Living, Richland, MS.
