Mary Jean Dillard

Mary Jean Dillard a native of Montgomery, AL and resident of Collinsville, MS died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday April 27, 2024. Mary was born to Ernest Oliver (“E.O”) and Mary Sue Bullard on January 20, 1944.

Mary cared for others and was a loving daughter, sister, wife mother, and grandmother. She was known for her witty sense of humor. She worked hard selling Avon to the women of Meridian for over 30 years. She loved all animals, especially hummingbirds which were her favorite.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband, Ray Dillard, her brothers, Charles and Robert Bullard, her son Keith Lonidier, and her granddaughter, Kasey Rigsby.

She is survived by her sister, Judy Odell, her son, Warren and Lora Lonidier, her daughters Cindy Wooten, Angela and David Calvert, and Deana and Kevin Jenkins. Her surviving grandchildren are Amber Harrell and Mitch Brandon Almand, Brent Almand, Dan Dillard, Dylan and Lauren Wooten, Morgan and Chris Hoggle, Chase and Isabella Wooten, Dustin and Morgan Jenkins, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 29, 2024 beginning at 11:00 AM at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home Downtown. A Graveside Service will be held immediately after with a procession leaving the funeral home at 12:30 PM to Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian, MS.
