Mary Atwood Butler Fairchild

Services for Mrs. Mary Atwood Butler Fairchild will be held Tuesday at 1:30 pm at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lamar Lifer and Rev. Bob Followell officiating. Burial will be in the Gilbert Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Fairchild, 90, of Meridian, died Saturday, April 23, 2011 at her residence. She was a longtime member, Sunday school teacher, and GA Leader at Calvary Baptist Church. She loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Louise Golden and husband Sam grandchildren, Frances Garrett and husband Jimmy, Lynn Pierce, and Brian Quinn and wife Tisha 7 Great Grandchildren 4 Great Great Grandchildren and one niece and two nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Frances Atwood her husbands, Everette Butler, and Woodrow Fairchild.

Pallbearers will be Bob Holley, Clarence Holley, Billy Jack Ethridge, James Ray Hopkins, Donald Vance, and T.C. Glover.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to Calvary Christian School.

Visitation will be Monday from 57 pm at the funeral home.
