Mary Mathis

MERIDIAN Services for Mary Mathis will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ed Shoemaker officiating. Interment will be held at Archusa Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Quitman. Visitation will be Sunday from 57 pm at Webb Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mathis, 91, passed on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Poplar Springs Nursing Center in Meridian. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Fred H. Mathis Sr. of Quitman daughters, Mary Dorothy Parker Larry and Connie Gale Brister Robert Tim sons, Fred H. Mathis Jr., Jerrold Wayne Mathis Delia and Ronnie Dale Mathis Cathy sister, Mailand Drake brother, Daniel Wright grandchildren, Tracy McAdams Ishee, Jeremy Wayne McAdams, Bobby Jones, Bryan Brister, Ashley Brister, Jonathan Brister, Aaron Brister, Ashley Riordan and Glenn Riordan and 17 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Cleo Wright three brothers and a sister.
