Maurice Elizabeth Askew
Services for Mrs. Maurice Askew will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Webb Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. David Schultz officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Webb Funeral Home from 5 - 7p.m. Interment will be in Sageville United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Askew, 103, passed away on December 14, 2016 at Diversacare. She played the piano and organ for Sageville church for years and in her younger years played piano for dance bands.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Askew and Samuel "Buddy" Askew, Jr.; Sister, Anne Ruth Buck; Four Grandchildren; Four Great Grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Hale; Husband, Samuel Leo Askew Sr.; 3 Brothers; and 3 Sisters.
