Graveside services for Mrs. Mavis Harrison Hurst will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at Magnolia Cemetery with Dr. Gary Blair officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Hurst, 94, of Meridian, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Bedford Care Center in Marion. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Mrs. Hurst was a seamstress at Burnley Shirt Factory for many years. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Bedford Care Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Deanna Dallas and husband Horis sons, Charles David Hurst and wife Suzanne, and Walter Lee Hurst, Jr. and wife Nelda grandchildren, David Hurst and wife Rebekah, Tommy Hurst and wife Pam, Jody Hurst and wife Twyla, Sandra Robinson and husband Larry, Shannon Beckham and husband Bruce, and Casie Fuller and husband David 12 Great Grandchildren 2 Great Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents her husband, Walter L. Hurst, Sr. and six brothers and sisters.
