MR. MAXWELL MAXIE ETHRIDGE

Graveside Services for Mr. Maxwell Maxie Ethridge will be held on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Hamrick Cemetery with Rev. Hal Ethridge officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ethridge, 80, former resident of 6 Wilderness Road, Hampton, VA, died Friday, October 16, 2009 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS .He was retired from the United States Air Force after 30 years of service during which he earned the Good Conduct medal; Humane Action medal while in Berlin, Germany; Military Merit medal and a National Defense medal.

He is survived by his sisters: Patsy Thomas; Frances Hoven and her husband, Earl, all of Meridian; Elise Robertson and husband, James of Vicksburg; Brenda Ethridge of Philadelphia; brother: Wayne Ethridge and wife, Becky of Demopolis, AL; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his wife, Lina Ethridge and a brother-in-law, Charles Thomas.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 19, 2009 from 12:00-1:30 at the Webb Funeral Home.
